1977 J24, Very clean! Great for Racing, sailing or just to cruise around!
Located in Helena, Montana, this 1977 24-foot, J24 is a great sailboat. This one was used to teach young sailors how to race.
This J24 is in great shape. The owner remodeled it over the past year and a half. Now it is structurally sound and has the parts mounted where they are currently placed for racing.
The Johnson 4.5 HP outboard is in good running condition. Serviced in 2019, new impeller installed.
Comes with two sets of sails, one fairly old and the other about five years old. The new set of sails consist of:
- One mainsail
- One jib sail
- One genoa sail
- One spinnaker with pole
Items recently re-conditioned:
- Port Bulkhead
- Forward Stanchion base Port and Starboard
- Bad balsa core was replaced on the deck
- Balsa core replaced on the tiller
- Keel newly faired, painted and antifoul
- Deck freshly painted included non-skid
- Interior freshly painted
- New bow lights and compass, tiller extension
- New PVC Toerails

Comes with a 1977 single-axle trailer in good condition and road ready. Bearings were re-greased in 2019 and hardly used since. Has drum brakes and a spare tire. Tires are in good condition with plenty of tread.
