Very Well Equipped Blue Water Cruiser In Need Of Love.

1979 Tartan 37 ridiculously well fitted out and rigged but in need of significant renovation to fore-deck traffic areas due to moisture penetration and delamination, a port side 3 square foot depressed area well above waterline possibly from storm, sling misadventure or docking or rafting collision, percussion sounding of rudder indicates repair may be required but sounding of the hull from keel to hull/deck joint otherwise unremarkable.

Rigging and deck gear as shown, top-grade, including new #52 2-speed ST winches and a pair of less new #42, spinnaker pole, vane steering system, automatic lifeboat, reasonably modern and ample electronics including radar, autopilot, stereo, VHF, SAT-TV, and on, and on.

50 hp Yanmar 4JH2E with 1344 hours. Sails currently in indoor storage loft, not inventoried as of yet but probably equally impressive.

Proud owner and skipper have passed, the spouse needs to sell, the boat needs somebody to love her, renovate her, and take her back to sea where she belongs.

No existing surveys available, current or otherwise, history of the vessel hearsay at best, a buyer in contract would need to assess the vessel as it is, not how it got that way, by means of a proper inspection by an accredited marine surveyor.

For obvious reasons, the most attractive offers will contain contingencies limited to inspection in place without commissioning for water trial.
