Restored Sea OX boat with a 2 stroke 200 hp Johnson outboard on an extended engine bracket.

The Sea OX is very similar to a Grady White with a cuddy cabin and walkaround. They were built well to last a long time while being sturdy enough to take a chop. Deep V in the front to cut the seas and tapering in the back to give more speed than a total Deep V. Also, this boat is more stable at anchor than a total Deep V hull.

The engine bracket gives the boat a better ride, especially in a choppy sea. Also, it puts the engine back for more fishing room at the transom.

This boat has a Lowrance HDS7 Fishfinder/GPS/Plotter with an upgraded transducer and side scan. A VHF is in the Cuddy cabin for weather protection. A windlass is on the bow for retrieving an anchor with ease.

Pole holders are strategically placed in the boat for the avid fisherman. The transom has a storage compartment on the starboard side and a live well on the port side. Forward-oriented helm station allows for a huge fishing deck area with pole holders and storage on the sides and 2 large below deck storage compartments. Swivel pedestal captain's chairs for riding or fishing. The Portside chair has a fighting chair gimbal for the big fish battles.

The cuddy cabin is a walkaround with room to sit on the front and has a forward anchor storage area. The cuddy cabin is set up with plenty of storage, offers seating or converts to a V-berth or 2 single berths. Storage below the seats and on sides within the cuddy cabin. Teak trim wood for a luxury appearance.

Two starting batteries and one auxiliary battery to run the Depth Sounder and VHF radio. Battery "smart" maintainer for longer battery life and optimal battery charge.

The boat has a small bimini top the width of the cuddy cabin.

ConditionTotal hull restoration with 4 step process including wet sanding. Hull is shiny and absent any damage. Recent work on wiring including switches and heat shrink connections. The raw water pump and wiring were recently replaced. Recent work on fuel system with updated connectors, hoses, fuel/water separator installed and wiring connectors updated to fuel gauge sensor. The engine was tuned up with plugs and lower gear oil changed. The engine runs well at cruise speed and WOT. The tachometer was recently replaced but now works at idle speed but not after throttle up. Lowrance HDS7 works well as does the VHF radio. The live well pump is working.
