Beautiful family Cruiser! Her beamy design offers a suprisingly spacious interior providing two large cabins, open salon and full galley down arrangement with "U" shaped dinette. Her fairly deep-V hull provides a soft and comfortable even in rough seas. She will cruise comfortably at 15-16knots and reach 24knots

Accommodations and Layout
Malabar offers complete cruising comfort with room and accomodations usually only found on larger boats. The engineers at Carver designed her with a wider beam, providing more volume and a fairly deep-v creating a very comfortable ride.

Stepping aboard aft you enter via the large swim platform and up a short ladder to the sun deck. The sun deck is large, providing ample area for deck furniture and lounging. Going forward is safe and easy with high siderails and full bow pulpit. Access to the fly bridge is via molded in steps on each side. The fly bridge features a centerline helm and generous guest seating.

Going below from the sun deck you enter via double doors and step down into the open salon. Large ports and a full windshield provide tremendous light and create a very airy feel. The full beam salon features a beautiful sectional sofa to port and side chair starboard. The salon is divided from the gally by countertops and storage cabinets. The galley is a "galley down" agrangement with the galley to starboard and large "U" shaped, convertible dinette to port. The galley is fully equipped and provides ample storage for extended cruising.
Forward of the galley is the guest cabin featuring a double berth, standing headroom, hanging locker and a private entrance to the forward head. The aft galley is down a few steps from the salon and features all the comforts of a master cabin: large island double, built-in entertainment center, private marine head with vacu flush and stall shower, generous storage and hanging lockers.
