You will be hard-pressed to find a better-maintained or better-loved Nonsuch 30 Ultra than REVELATION. She has enjoyed only two sets of owners since she was built and she has only been sailed on Lake Ontario. She has always had the utmost in care, upgrades and improvements and her owners attention to detail is exceptionally evident when you are invited on board.

When you look at REVELATION, it is apparent that her design is such that her beam is carried over most of her length, resulting in a hugely spacious interior and cockpit. Her mast is unstayed and placed forward of her accommodation area. An aluminum wishbone is high off the deck and sheeted at the aft end. Her relatively flat underbody, moderate draft fin keel, and semi-balanced spade rudder at the aft end of the waterline, give her a low-wetted surface, which results in very good performance.

With no chain plates, shrouds or stays, Genoa track or cars, mainsheet traveler, or primary winches on her cockpit coamings, there is an amazing amount of space above deck on this 30 footer. Cockpit seating has living-room chair depth, with high coamings for comfortable seating. Although the size of her mainsail may be intimidating, hoisting the sail is a breeze with her electric coachroof-mounted winch. Raising and lowering her anchor is easy with the electric windlass.

Her interior has a large permanent double berth located forward in her cabin, with a large hanging locker and a vanity on the opposite side. Her sleeping area is comfortable with its Pullman-style bed with custom insert, completely private and easily out of the mainstream of traffic. Aft to starboard lies an extremely large head, which is almost bathroom-sized, and boasts a separate shower stall with a teak seat. A bi-fold, teak door separates the forward cabin from the main salon. Opposite the head lies a large galley with its like-new 2-burner Force 10 propane stove and oven, a generous 12-volt refrigerator/freezer and a top-of-the-line on-demand Paloma propane hot water heater. Just inside the companionway lies a spacious L-shaped dinette, with an opposing settee and a hanging locker aft.
