She is surprisingly nimble upwind and is truly unbelievable off the wind. Cat-rigged with a wishbone boom, the NS36 is self-tacking and you can reef from the cockpit. She has a fin keel & spade rudder and wheel steering. The sail is easily raised with the winch that is also the primary sheet winch. Without stays it is extremely easy to walk around on deck. It is performance cruising at its best.
