The 430 Sea Ray Convertible Sedan is one of the best designs from the late eighties. Only built for 2 years is the reason why you will not see many of these on the market, plus people have a tendency to keep them longer. The boat has an OAL of 49'1" it is very well laid out with great accommodations for cruising, with a large cockpit for entertaining or fishing.

Very spacious forward stateroom with offset queen bed and tons of storage, privacy door and entrance to the head with stall shower. Guest stateroom with bunks and hanging locker and drawers.

Galley is down with breakfast bar which open to the salon. Salon u-shaped settee to starboard with hi-lo table, wet bar and ice maker, 2 Tub chairs in salon, Great fly bride with well laid out helm, a large seat forward of the helm, plenty of seating and compact fridge with bar sink.

This is a lot of boat for the money, and certainly worth a look. This freshwater boat has been on Lake Erie since new, and shows extremely well.

The exterior had all the grey accent striping repainted in 2008, all new canvas including bridge enclosure with high quality clear vinyl curtains. And the bridge completely reupholstered in 2008.

More upgrade were done on the interior in 2 (use contact form below) , and they are as follow.

New headliner in hallway and master stateroom.

Re-upholstered accent galley panels.

New bronze mini-blinds on side of windows, sliding door and back windows 

Re-upholstered forward salon windows and removed outdated curtains. Now the front windows during the day allows the sun to shine in, and at night a new canvas cover for the exterior allows for evening privacy.

New carpet throughout salon, hallway, side cabin and master stateroom.

New vinyl in galley.

Double sofa bed in salon which sleeps two adults comfortably, therefore the boat sleeps 6 people.

Re-upholstered two tub chairs to co-ordinate with decor.

Two bar stool at the kitchen nook/salon area.

New Wine cooler.

Stateroom bedding and side stateroom bunks are new micro suede comforters.

New Flat Screen TV in salon.

The boat is equipped with Air/heat, electric windlass with danforth anchor, 4 batteries, battery charger, parallel switch, bilge blowers, bilge pumps, bow pulpit, clock, coffee maker, electric stove, convection oven, microwave oven, barometer, vacuum flush head, 4 deck chairs and table, two docking headlights, dockside water, 4 fenders and 4 fender holders, hot water tank, 2 refrigerators, freezer above galley fridge, rudder angle indicator, screens, pressure water hot and cold, central vac, 2 shore power inlet 30 amps, 2 X 50' shore power cord, shower stall in washroom, shower in cockpit, swim platform with ladder, trim tabs, 2 windshield wipers, fresh water wash down pump.

Water tank capacity 132 gals.   Fuel tank capacity 500 gals,  Holding tank 25 gals.

Power.

The boat is powered by a pair of Mercruiser, 454 cubic inches, 330 HP, with only 850 original hours. And has a 8.5 KW Onan Generator with 450 hours.

Of course the boat is now stored for the Winter, but a zipper door was installe so that the boat can be viewed most any rime by appointment. 

Nothing needs to be done to this boat, and it will be ready to go as soon as it is launched in the Spring of 2012.
