Beautiful Chris Craft ready to cruise on it's next adventure!
Absolutely beautiful 1953 Chris Craft U22 Sportsman ready for the water. This boat is a beautiful example of the craftsmanship delivered by the manufacturer. All of these boats were handmade and it really shows. This particular U22 has eleven coats of varnish that was hand-applied.
The mahogany on this boat is in wonderful condition which is pretty amazing when you consider her age. There is a shine on the hull that you can see yourself in. There is seating for five adults, two forward and three aft.
This is the same model boat that was featured in the movie "On Golden Pond". This a nostalgic look back on how boats used to be made. It still has the original motor and fuel tank! A perfect boat for the lake to cruise to a nice lunch.
