LIVEABOARD POTENTIAL! Blue water set-up (electronics, water maker, etc.). Comfortable cabin and berths, two heads, fly bridge.

This Ed Monk is a classic! Access port or starboard through the sliding doors, and aft through the transom door. The spaciousness is striking, along with the 180-degree views from the salon.

The flybridge affords excellent views all around, allowing for better maneuverability.

There are two davits, one motorized, one manual, that hoist a 13-foot Boston Whaler with 30hp Evinrude 2-stroke outboard, and also an inflatable. Optional dinghy available and negotiable.

The electronics onboard are numerous:

- Garmin 120
- Furuno Radar
- Simrad AP 26
- Humminbird fish finder on Boston Whaler Koden fathometer
- Impulse 360 fathometer
- Probe Forward scanning transducer
- Wood Freeman
- Standard Horizon and ICOM VHFs
- Compass at operating station and on flybridge

The cabin is spacious with windows throughout. The main salon houses the helm and nav table, plus a very generously sized dinette, and a galley that runs along the starboard side. To aft is a head and two cabins, with access to the enclosed aft deck. Forward is a V-berth and head, with access to the engine room. The diesel fired cabin-heating furnace with six radiators throughout the boat and a 20-gallon steel hot water tank for cabin heat and to pre-heat the engine. She was regularly cruised in Alaskan waters and has a number of ways to keep the vessel comfortable.

There is also a System 7 seawater desalinator.

One davit has a manual winch to retrieve crab pots and includes crab pots.

The other davit (32v DC winch motor) is used to deploy the Boston Whaler.

A fish freezer is operated by a 32v DC compressor.

The hull is cedar carvel planked, varying between two inches adjacent to the deck to six inches. The deck is teak planking. Bottom planks are 1 1/8" thick. The transom is supported by eight 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" stanchions plus two knees. The hull has reinforcement around the waterline for going through pack ice.
