This Viking 40 balances the requirements of fishermen and cruisers well. Her large open foredeck affords easy access along with her wide side decks: the flybridge seats the skipper and four or five guests in comfort. The helm is on the centerline at the aft portion of the bridge.
This Viking 40 Convertible offers two staterooms and a "galley down" layout, meaning that the galley facilities are several steps down from the main salon and entertaining area. The starboard side is a galley with a double sink, refrigerator/freezer, electric stove, and oven. Up several steps, the open salon has storage along both sides and in the engine room below.
