"RUB A DUB DUB" is a great example of the original TBI manufactured boat that has continued to be built since Crosby Yacht Yard purchased the molds in 1980. This very versatile model, the Pleasure Tug, features a large and spacious deckhouse, a full size galley with large settee opposite, an elevated pilothouse with both port and starb'd side doors, a V-berth along with space for a head. Teak louvered doors provide privacy for the forward cabin and full standing headroom is almost everywhere. The fantail can be accessed via a companionway abaft the galley and is a great place to end the day with a cocktail in a comfortable chair. There is a bridge steering station with a reversible pilots seat up top. Complete engine instrumentation. The pilothouse features a nice compliment of electronics for peace of mind while cruising. The view from the pilothouse is excellent, with the doors and windows that open, cross ventilation is excellent and rairly would one need airconditioning. Cruising speed is at 7 knots and top speed is a about 8 knots. She would make a great inland lake or river tug and she turns heads everywhere she goes. She woud make a wonderful Great Loop boat and her economy would allow the trip to be done without breaking the bank while providing the safety and power to go anywhere. Her owners have invested a tremendous amount of time, money and energy into turning "RUB A DUB DUB" into a turn-key cruising vessel...she wants for nothing. This boat features commercial rub rails and are substantial to say the least...you would have to work very hard to scratch this hull.

Overbuilt and comfortable, this tug awaits new owners and new destinations. Sailboat trades would be onsidered. "RUB A DUB DUB" features a full cabin and as a result has a surprising amount of room in her spacious areas. One may enter either thru the pilothouse doors or via doors on the fantail. Wide sidedecks are easy to navigate and safely tucked down low under the bulwarks. Her pilothouse is raised and steps lead down forward to the V-berth which features a nice sized and well cushioned V-berth, a large hanging locker and space for a head. Because she is currently used as a day boat, her owners haven't installed a head, but the fittings exist for pump-out and holding tank. Back up the steps and aft, one finds the nicely equipped galley with large settee opposite. There is excellent galley storage and additional storage behind the settee berth. The settee makes up into a larger berth. There are large opening windows with screns both port and starb'd. The overhead has fresh white paint and looks bright and cheery. The doors leading out to the fantail are white with teak trim. There is a dinette table that stores on the portside wall. Her interior is at once both traditional and warm; she is quite inviting and provides a cozy refuge during inclement weather while cruising. When it does get cold, just shut the pilothouse doors and cruise in comfort. Make an appointment today to see this unique cruising tug. She will tug (haha) at your heartstrings and you'll fall in love.

The well equipped galley offers a Homestrand two burner stove (electric), Norcold 4.3cu. ft. refrigerator w - freezer compartment, Pressure cold water system, Built-in dinnerware storage in portside corner, opening port window, storage under aft steps, storage lockers under galley are quite deep and spacious, teak sole, large opening windows with screens both port and starb'd. The Head features a compartment for such, but the owners haven't installed a unit ( the pump out fittings are present).
