Custom Aluminum Work Barge built in 2020. Rated for 22,000 Pound Payload.

This aluminum work barge was custom built in 2020 using used aluminum pontoons that were pressure tested and refurbished. This is the third work barge built by this owner, and the professionalism shows. It is equipped with a gas powered IMT 5200 Series crane with a knuckle boom. The boom has a 32' 2" horizontal reach and a 41' vertical reach.

The barge is rated for 22,000 pounds of payload and has been is used for waterway construction projects the last two years. It is being replaced with a new larger barge currently under construction for the spring construction season.

The barge is propelled with a 200 Hp Mercury 2-stroke outboard motor, and the stern is equipped with two 20-foot hydraulic stabilizing spuds. There is also a 5000 LB winch included.

ConditionIn great condition, this work barge is ready to go! The aluminum is in excellent shape all the way around. Each baffle on the pontoons were pressure tested and found to be leak free prior to barge construction and the refurbishment of the pontoons. Owner says the outboard motor had 200 hours when purchased. There is no hour meter on the barge, but it probably has about 230 - 240 hours now. The barge has only been operated in freshwater.
