The Nightwind 35 sloop is a very fast performance sailboat.
In fact, she can do 8 knots! The nice thing about this Nightwind is you can use her for racing or for cruising. She is built for speed but has many comforts about her.
She can sleep up to 6 people. This boat was designed by Bruce Kirby and is very fast and comfortable too. The current owner has won many races with her. He also is very particular about everything being in top shape and ready to go. A rare and wonderful find for sure.
Considering that the boat is being raced there are no old sails on this boat. A general classification of the sails on this boat would be considered excellent. There is a mainsail, 150 genoa, 135 genoa, jib, and spinnaker.
There is a 15 KG Bruce. and a 20lbs Fortress, 50 feet of chain plus rode. There is a Bimini but it's in storage [hardware is in place].
There is a GPS knot meter for speed and a Chartplotter for nav.
Climate control works well, hot and cold. No boarding ladder and no stove.
The boat is currently on the hard, new bottom is on and will splash on Wednesday (March 17, 2021). Plus this boat was just fitted with a 2 blade folding prop but the 3 blade, [14 dia, 13 pitch] is available.
