Beautiful sportfish, twin engine fishing machine, ready for custom design!
This 1984 Ocean 55 SuperSport is a Solid foundation in need of a interior Refit. Located in Fort Myers Beach, FL.
Her Hull is in good shape, recently cleaned and repaired any blisters. Fresh bottom paint early 2021.
She has two Detroit 8V92TI's, Allison transmissions and runs great. Check out the video of Engines running.
Bridge is fairly well equipped and she can be driven to a new home port. The interior is a Blank Slate, could be a 3 cabin or two, with Up Galley. The structure appears to be in good shape and much work has been done.
In February of 2017 boat was hauled out at glades boat works I have all receipts I did almost all work myself except for sand blasting the hull in which I brought in a specialist. I then ground out all blisters and then filled with fiberglass resin with chopped glass and cavasil everything was ground smooth and sealed with two coats of epoxy E2000 interlux bottom sealer.bottom was then painted with three coats of anti fouling bottom paint both shafts were pulled out. and all four cutlass bearings were replaced and shaft packing glands were gone thru.all through hulls were rebedded some were replaced that were forward. Propellers were redone and turned up to 28/32s with a slight cup.New rudder stay bearings were added as a upgrade. also all new steering hynautic lines were run from helm to ram. Cap and hull was completely resealed (fiberglassed) all connecting wood was pulled out and replaced with fiberglass and was rescewed every 8 inches there are extensive pictures of it included with ad boat was then painted with interlux perfection roll and tip 4 coats Lauderdale blue. A new one piece rubber rub rail was added.After boat was put back in the water. A new bulkhead was installed in rear of engine room in the process of changing out gen set I have a 9kw onan with sound shields and only1400 hrs on it will be going in soon the 15 KW it is replacing is still under the deck which was removed from the engine room it originally had two one in engine room and one under back deck.The engines I have replaced all the Turbos on both engines totals of 4. port side I have also replaced the heads and put a new blower on it. All the injectors have been rebuilt on both engines The Racors are new FG 1000s All the fuel lines have been replaced and a fuel management system was installed (Maratron) hooks to the GPS as far as electronics go it has a garman 9 inch.with bottom finder.and chart plotter hooked up.... but it also comes with a furuno chart plotter and 42 mile radar and bottom machine 14 inch screen not in stalled The entire salon floor back bulkhead all the way through to the hull is new. The interior needs to be finished to your needs and own design .
