The restoration on this 1984 Silverton 40 takes the concept to a new level. Not only has the exterior gel coat, metalwork and fixtures been restored to gleaming but the helm, deck and all interior features have either been replaced with new modern components or completely refurbished

From the exterior, the gel coat is the first thing that grabs you. Boats of this vintage never look this good, but this one does. The owner is a master craftsman who has spent a career in the RV and home restoration business and he really knows his stuff.
The helm gets new captain's chairs and everything gleams to the eye. New isinglass panels enhance the freshness of the surrounding canvas.
Step down into the main salon and new recliners and a large flat-screen TV meet you. On a cold morning turn on the new fireplace for heat or just beautiful color to cheer you up. Replaced carpet feels great and matches the decor overall. In the heat, a 16,000 BTU air conditioner will keep you cool.
The aft cabin gets a new mattress, the head has been totally restored and the woodwork in the closets and drawers sparkle with new finish.
Going forward, step down into the galley and dinette. Galley on the port side has all new appliances; an electric stove, microwave and refrigerator/freezer. Notice the quartz counters and new sink. This galley could make the Architectural Digest!
On the starboard side slide into the dinette that makes into a third sleeping spot. Notice great storage everywhere; it has all been replaced with new or fully refurbished.
Last but not least is the aft head; this design and implementation is fit for a million dollar boat.
