Fully updated, one of a kind George Sutton Schooner !!!

This 1984 Sutton Boat Works is truly a one-of-a-kind steel schooner that is ready to take your family and friends to those distant destinations and conveniently located in Port Huron Michigan.

She has voyaged more than 30,000 miles and has become known throughout New England, the Chesapeake, Bermuda, and the far corners of the Caribbean for her beauty under sail and her proven offshore record.

She was designed by George Sutton, the renowned steel boat builder (Sutton Boat Works) of Tarpon Springs, FL. She was built in St. Augustine by Dennis Schreiber, a well-known steel boat builder who collaborated with George Sutton. She has had only two owners since her construction.

Using solid mahogany, teak, and ash, her interior was built with an eye to practicality, comfort, and safety at sea. She has rounded bilges (rolled steel) - a very special and unusual feature on steel boats of this size, most of which are hard chine. She also has a walk-in engine room, which makes maintenance underway a far easier job, adding to safety.

ConditionQuoted from the seller; "Virtually every system on the boat was updated in 2013-2014 and has been used primarily for day sailing and short trips on the lakes since 2013. Recent updates include new wiring throughout the vessel, an entirely new fuel system, all new PVC pressure-fitted plumbing system, new exhaust hoses, new through-hull fittings, a Fireboy fire suppression system in the engine room, and a high water alarm in the bilge. There are two new VacuFlush heads and new sink faucets. The standing rigging has been updated, and the newer sails have seen little use. Most recently Jade Lady had a new hot water tank and shower sump pump in 2020 and all-new reverse cycle heat and AC and all new Garmin electronics installed in 2021 (Garmin 943 XSV and Radar Bundle, Wind, Speed, Distance gauges, Autopilot, etc). An ultrasound was done on the boat in November of 2019 with no problems noted".
