Looking to sell our family boat. It comes with a trailer (tires and all are in great shape). A bit of info... 1986 Edel 820 - Produced and built by Sandstream Yatchs in Canada. This boat has an 18hp inboard 2GM20F Yanmar engine (much more reliable) rather than a Volvo on French Edel models. Boat was purchased from previous owners, who have kept it in meticulous condition since the original purchaser of the boat. All purchases, upgrades and repair materials are included in an organized binder from previous owners. This has kept going with our family also. We've done few necessary upgrades, which I will talk about shortly. Boat hull was recently sanded and painted. It was sailed last summer, but this summer is kept in PCYC marina with storage paid until winter term. (should you wish to keep it there, or move it somewhere else) Oil filter, air filter and engine oil all changed. All hoses are winterized with Anti-Free. Sheâs ready for winter storage. Interior: - Full 6' standing headroom in main cabin. Spacey interior - Accommodation for five adults in 2 cabins - 18 gal tasteless water tank - High quality marine toilet with 18 gal holding tank Rigging: -Roller Furling -Mainsail -100% Genoa -Spinnaker Electrical: -Standard Horizon GPS Chart Plotter -2 Nautilus marine batteries 1 extra deep cycle Nautilus battery for engine. (3 in total, theyâve been charged inside the garage and are in good shape) -All mast lights have been changed to LED. There's a copy of all the information about the boat and more inside the binder. The upgrades we've done: 1)ENTIRE old Interior fabric has been replaced with durable waterproof light brown fabric. To keep the authentic look, seat covers might be next on the list for replacement. Wood teak has been redone. 2)New high capacity - Nautilus marine battery charger for the 3 batteries in board. 3)New Bruce Anchor (replacing the old Danforth anchor) Last note, before anyone takes her away, Iâm getting the started redone by a marine specialist. After that, sheâs all yours. Absolutely in NO HURRY to sell unless the price is fair. Iâll keep her for another season and keep doing the upgrades. This is a family boat in pristine condition. Thereâs always a buyer for this type of boat. Please call or email to arrange a meeting to see the boat.
