This 1987 Blackfin 27 is first and foremost a fishing vessel. It was designed with the serious fisherman in mind and that is what it should be used for. The boat is solid, and sturdy, with a "Deep V" hull (24 degree), and handles well under most conditions according to the owner.
The Blackfin 27 is a fishing boat (did I mention that?) It has everything a serious fishing boat should have. Huge cockpit? Check. Great visibility all around? Check. High gunwales to keep you in the boat? Check. Outriggers to make the perfect spread? Check. Fast and solid to get you out there quickly and back home safely? Check and Checkmate!
The boat is set up with twin Crusader 350 engines rated at 270hp each. Owner/restorer reports that the engines and all systems are working as designed. The boat and its systems have just been gone through by an experienced r captain and the boat is ready to - yep, it's "fish" again
Boat has a great command set up at the helm,with a companion seat to port. Great access on the engine boxes d and ready for rides out to the Canyons. Below is basic, but what you need for overnights fishing (you didn't think I was going to say sailing, did you?) There are twin bunks, a vacuuflush head and additional rod storage (cause, you know?)
