This 1987 RAMPAGE 280 SPORTSMAN DELUXE is a fantastic vessel, equipped with all the amenities for fishing and pleasure boating alike.
This boat hails from Long Island/Queens/Brooklyn, NY. The current owner is the third owner. He purchased the boat in 2015 and has enjoyed her for pleasure, fishing excursions, and tournament fishing.
The boat is powered with twin Volvo Penta with 433 hours (port) and 428 (starboard) respectively. The current owner has upgraded the boat with newer electronics, and an A/C unit for the cabin that also provides heat to the space for cooler temps. In addition, he replaced the custom built tackle center that the previous owner had installed on the boat.
The boat stands true to her reputation of being a very durable and sturdy vessel in the rough sea, and handles very well in the variety of swells/waters of the New York Bight of the Atlantic Ocean in and around Brooklyn, Staten Island, and New Jersey. She has also carried the owner down to Ocean City, MD, and other spots along the way.
The twin stations that are both operational that she offers are unique to other vessels in her same category/size.
She has a very spacious cockpit making for plenty of room for fishing and simple relaxing while on the water..
