This 1990 Sea Ray 270 DA is a boat that needs updating and remodeling. The 7.4L gasoline engine was running intermittently when the seller pulled it out of the water and put the boat on the hard in 2020. The seller has not started the engine since then. One mechanic told her it just needed to be tuned up and a few sensors changed, another mechanic said she should just replace the engine.
The topside of the boat is in need of a good cleaning but seems to be sound with no soft spots noticed. Inside, the carpet needs to be refit and a good thorough cleaning of the headliner and walls would be in order.
At the right price, this could be a nice boat once the remodel is finished and engine issues are addressed.
