By adding the cockpit, fuel capacity was increased from 750 gallons to 1,300. All installation was performed by the crew at Shipyard Island Marina on Washington Island, Wisconsin where the boat has been stored since new. With addition of the two NEW MAN D2842LE406's (1200hp, each), and the upgraded driveline and steering systems...cruise speed has become a very comfortable and economical 20 knots. This very knowledgable owner invested 650K in the new engines and driveline equipment, over 175K in the cockpit and tanks, design and installation...all because he couldn't fiind another boat to replace this boat.
