Well Maintained Family Cruiser, Priced To Sell, Ready To Go!

Not much else to say about this boat but that if somebody doesn't snap it up pretty quickly, this broker will be surprised... essentially a two-owner boat, a father and then his son have owned her since 2002 when purchased from the original owner. All service performed at the current location, no damage history, mechanically in surprising condition and cosmetically... the pictures tell that story.

Among the surprising feature list, how about a nice Quicksilver generator with only a tad over 300 hours, and full circuit freshwater cooled big-block main engines with just under 850 mostly loafing hours, with only 7 hours difference between them... meaning in almost thirty years this boat has probably never had an engine failure requiring the captain to come back to port on one alone. More likely the difference is due to somebody inadvertently leaving an ignition key on or always starting the same engine first.

Do not mistake this for the Sundancer model of that year, the 330 Express Cruiser is a direct drive inboard, not a V-drive or stern drive, with better weight distribution and greater fuel and waste capacity at the sacrifice of the aft sleeper compartment. A well-made and robust boat for those who plan to go places, need longer legs, greater reliability, and a better ride.

The open cockpit lacks the customary bench seating of the Sundancer models, meaning those who might want to wet some lines and catch some fish have the uncluttered, durable, wash-down workspace and even a pair of rod holders... but for a baitwell and a few other items, this boat could almost be mistaken for a Sea Ray Amberjack.

So, check out the photos, read the reviews on the web, and if you are looking to step up to a twin or bigger cruiser but are not sure you can handle it, there will not be a less expensive or risky experiment than to try out this excellent, boat for a season or two... or ten.

ConditionThe overall condition is very good for the age, this boat has been loved for two decades, serviced at the current facility for years. The only knock cosmetically is staining of the forward berth roof liner from a prior hatch leak. No soft spots found in the foredeck or cockpit. The owner (and his mechanics) report the boat runs well and everything works.
