Boat needs a outdrive seller does not have possession of old outdrive NEW GM 6.5L Intercooled Turbo Diesel!!

"Let's face it, the most important factor in your enjoyment and safety on the open sea is the design and construction of the hull, and there is simply no other sportfishing boat in our category that can favorably
compare to the durability, strength, ruggedness and especially the ride of an Albemarle." by Albemarle.

This Albemarle 265 Open Express Fisherman is fully loaded with a DIESEL engine with less than 40 hours on it, a Volvo Duo-Prop outdrive, new paint job, a standup shower and head, fresh water, a live-well, galley with microwave and frig, stainless steel brightwork/rails, radar arch, windlass, lots of storage and a cabin for weekend trips!

This boat can take you offshore fast to the fishing grounds and weekend cruises in style! It got a new Volvo Duo-Prop outdrive in 2002. Normally this Albemarle is a gas engine, but this boat has been repowered with a new General Motors marinized 6.5L Intercooled TURBO DIESEL which has less than 40 hours on it! This 6.5L diesel is known for its great fuel economy and drastically enhanced durability / reliability. The boat has DUAL BATTERIES with an automatic or manual switch so your friends can run all your gear without you being worried about starting your engine in the morning! Unlike most boats this size, it comes with a STAND-UP SHOWER, HEAD/Toilet with holding tank, sink, fresh water, and cabinets in the bathroom.

The fiberglass hull got repainted in 2013 a gorgeous sapphire blue. Fuel tank supports a 300 mile range so you can cruise offshore. At over 7,500 pounds with stabilizers, it rides like a much larger vessel - able to handle extremely rough water. Stainless steel brightwork, bow rail, and stainless steel cleats. Windless is rated for a heavier boat and works like a charm. It only draws 3 feet so you can get into great fishing holes. It cleans easily with both fresh and salt water washdowns. The Albemarle runs well and provides a smooth ride through any sea conditions with its 24 degree dead rise and elevated helm with excellent visibility, large cockpit, transom live-well and large, sturdy swim platform. The open cockpit makes the boat feel larger than it is. The electronics are dated but high-quality Furuno Radar, Furuno GPS Chartplotter, Standard Horizon VHF with Ram Mike, and upgraded CD/Radio. The Radar arch comes with wired horns and lights -- aside from the boat's standard cockpit and other built-in lights. No damage evident or reported. Cockpit seats show some wear as she has been in storage for years. The Galley includes storage cabinet & shelf, sink, bug-screened window, microwave and refrigerator.

The interior is TEAK with teal cushions in good condition, cream counters and a closet, with bug screens on windows. Lots of storage above and below decks including Tackle storage and rod holders below deck. Sleeps 2 easily - has comfortably slept mom, dad and 10 year old for the weekend. The V berth has storage built into it so you can stow away tackle, clothes, electronics, towels, pillows, sheets, life preservers, maps, etc. You can remove the cushions in the middle of the V berth bed to stand up a very high quality dining table which keys into the floor so your family can have a civilized sit down dinner below decks. This classic Albemarle has it all and carries Albemarle quality from bow to stern. She just feels completely rock solid.

She needs a bath to really make her shine. Hull is newly painted and looks great. Engine is essentially brand new, only 40 hours on her since installed in 2008 and shows it. ** At This point the boat is in need of a Duo prop outdrive, the seller does not have the old one. ***Seller is looking for offers now !!!
