FANTASTIC BUY, OWNER SAYS SELL...DRASTICALLY REDUCED!!!!

"Southern Jewel" is just that...a jewel in a sea of competitors. As one of the most popular, large express yachts ever built, there are many Sea Ray 500 Sundancers out there...read on to find out why this is THE 500 Sundancer to buy. She is a exceptionally well equipped and meticulously, professionally maintained vessel . She features all the right options and then some.

Located in Michigan until the fall of 2005, she has only spent 5 years and appx. 400 hours in Naples, Florida. Prior to her delivery south, her bottom was stripped (hull was dry) and barrier coated with eight (yes, 8) coats of Interlux Interprotect, followed by two coats of Interlux Ultra bottom paint. At the same time, the transom was coated with Interprotect and painted with Petit Vivid White to match the transom area. All hydraulic line holes for the TNT lift were sealed with epoxy. "Spurs" were added to her shafts to protect the running gear from lobster trap lines. All new Zincs were added and have been updated on a bi-yearly haulout. Because of this proactive approach, we can say with complete confidence that this boat will pass the most stringent hull survey.

The boat was hauled this September (2010) and two coats of Petit Ultima SR-60 were applied. The bottom is cleaned monthly by divers. At the same time of the haul out, the boat was waxed with Collinite Wax as per her owners maintenance program. This boat has been maintained to the highest standards and one look is all it will take for you to fall in love.

Notable features include: Detroit Diesel 6V-92TA's with DDEC (Detroit Diesel Electronic Controls), upgraded software for the DDEC system (more information and faster response time), Hynautic hydraulic controls, Raymarine Satellite TV system with two Direct TV receivers. Sky Mate Internet Service (subscription required) for internet access anywhere along with NOAA weather, TNT hydraulic swim platform with chocks for RIB (also with new hydraulic pump and upgraded brackets), New canvas package (color: Sunbrella Toast) new in 2009, Custom Xantrex 30 amp 24V Inverter System with separate battery bank and charging system...runs everything on the boat for 24 hours with the exception of the stove top, aircon and washer / dryer unit. The engines charge the separate 24V battery bank while running. Spare four blade props are stored in the engine room. There is a new flat screen LCD TV in the cockpit. A Westerbeke 11.0KW Generator provides power away from the dock and when the Inverter isn't enough. Air Conditioning and heat throughout the vessel. Upgraded windlass and remote controls for the TNT lift and the Glendinning Cablemaster. There are covers for everything on the boat. This boat came with every applicable Sea Ray option at the time she was ordered. The current owner is the second owner. "Spurs" were installed to protect the running gear. There is a custom boarding ladder for dockside as well.
