The Hunter 260 is a small recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass.
It is a fractional B&R rigged sloop, with a transom-hung rudder and a folding centerboard keel. It displaces 5,000 lb and carries 2,000 lb of water ballast.
Two berths, nifty galley, and enclosed head allow for sailing days on end. Hunter makes the experience truly easy with a rig that is safe, simple, and fast to set up and take down.
The amenities are usually found on much larger boats including an enclosed head, full galley, convertible dinette, V-berth, and aft cabin sleeping areas. Covered shower and vanity for complete privacy, a wrap-around galley and a very open cabin with good headroom, and a center-mounted table.
