The Camano 31 Troll features a Volvo Penta D4 diesel, an electric bow thruster for maneuverability, newer 6KW generator, upper and lower helms with remote control. The highly sought-after Keelform hull design allows full advantage of the acceleration curve provided by the Volvo Diesel.

Unlike other Trawlers, the Troll has a faster time to plane on the upper end of the speed range the hull remains level instead of aft end dragging. In choppy conditions, the molded-in spray rail creates a sheet of water to curl back down and acts like a shock absorber
