Nice 2006 Bayliner 225 Bowrider.
The 220 HP 5.0L Mercruiser with Alpha One outdrive has only low hours on it. There have been lots of mechanical upgrades and improvements this year (2021 - see "Condition" section below).
The 225's 8' 6" beam-forward design gives the boat an extremely spacious feel.
As you stroll back from the bow, you must step through the walk-through windshield, which has a reinforcement rod on each side of the hatch, ensuring the unit's stability. The helm has a full set of instrumentation that includes a speedometer, a tachometer, a voltmeter, and fuel, trim, water temperature and oil pressure gauges. There is also a Simrad GPS-chartplotter that was installed in April 2021.
There's dedicated storage for the boat's 36-quart cooler under the center of the aft settee, and the large sun pad can be pulled up for easy access to the engine.
The stern end of the 225 is framed by a large swim platform with a transom shower. The platform is connected to the cockpit by a walk-through, and it has a recessed ladder that makes for safer and easier access from the water. The entire deck and swim platform have Aquatraction (Seadek) that was installed in October 2020.
Ski/wakeboard storage, Dual Audio AM-FM-MP3-Bluetooth stereo system, removable table, and courtesy lights.
The boat rides on a 2013 Shoreland'r dual-axle galvanized steel trailer with good tires - including a new spare, and a folding tongue.
