Built upon Formula's high performance, stepped FAS-TECH hull design, the 370 SS offers speed and comfort for those who either currently own a go-fast boat and are looking for more room, comfort and accommodations, or others already used to such conventional cruiser features who wish to expand their operating range for day or overnight excursions with greater yet still comfortable cruising speeds.
That's one of the problems folks encounter after years of boating... all the new things to do get further and further away.
No more cramping in a cuddy cabin, camping overnight, now you have a full sized mid-cabin berth to handle any excess girth, a very large v-berth / settee for plenty of indoor seating if the weather gets snotty on the way home.
You've also got a generator and A/C to keep the climate comfortable while away from the dock or underway, stove, microwave, enclosed head and shower, satellite and digital OTA TV reception, kick-butt sound system, the list goes on and on as this boat was originally built with just about every option available, right down to the central vacuum and engine flush systems.
At the helm, you have great visibility for all-around situational awareness, with all the instruments and controls laid out with true ergonomic design the objective, dual displays for radar and GPS navigation, analog gauges for at-a-glance assessment of engine operating conditions without having to navigate menus put on reading glasses, as well as the networked Vessel View display for fuel management, systems and propulsion status.
The guests in the cockpit will be enjoying their speedy, smooth, dry ride in comfort thanks to ample seating, a wet bar and fridge, drink holders and table, half a dozen easily accommodated and thanks to Yacht Certification many more can be safely aboard above and below when needed.
As to the performance, that is delivered thanks to a pair of big-block Mercruiser 496 cubic inch, 425 horsepower, fuel injected, freshwater cooled powerplants that additionally feature stainless steel exhaust manifolds and risers, and can propel this seven and a half ton boat to a top speed over 50 mph and offer comfortable cruising at around 36 mph getting about a mile per gallon of fuel. Try matching that performance with a conventional express cruiser of this size... not going to happen.
On top of all that is the boat is fun to drive, carves turns effortlessly, cuts through the chop like a spear, will be able to beat most of your friends back to the dock so you'll never have to pick up the bar tab. People love these boats for a reason, and you will, too.
