The Glastron GS 269 is a unique and hard to find cruiser that combines the pleasing characteristics of European designs with traditional American Sport Cruiser functions.
She has an unusually large integrated swim platform with a four-step telescoping ladder. You will find a platform shower with two large storage lockers that can hold at least two fenders and the shore power cord.
A transom door leads to the aft cockpit where you find a plush c-shaped lounge. For entertainment, you will find a wet bar, refrigerator, and a mounted table.
Open up the engine hatch and you will find plenty of room and access to the engine for servicing. Volvo Penta's are one of the more cost-efficient engines. This vessel also comes with a dual prop for more fuel efficiency.
Down below the GS 260 has an elegant galley with a microwave, alcohol/electric stove, composite countertop, sink, and AC/DC refrigerator. For warmth, you will find portholes in the salon and a large hatch that aids in the flow of air.
The lounge is elegant in design and has a comfortable dinette table that drops down for a roomy sleeping berth.
The head has a stand-up shower and features a mirror opening porthole, composite countertop, sink with faucet shower wand, and a porcelain head.
There is an aft berth under the helm where children love to play. The rich cherry wood cabinets add to the European look and feel of contemporary elegance.
Altogether, the Glastron is a very comfortable boat for a family of 4-5 with plenty of storage. She also has a walkthrough windshield to safely access the bow.
