Not only is the YAMAHA 242X E Series jet boat an exceptional high-tech performance boat......this particular 2019 boat, located in San Antonio, is special and nearly new.
This is a One-Owner boat.
The very discriminating owner has professionally applied a specialty MARINE formulated CERAMIC coating on the boat which makes it shine like a new penny! The coating offers sun-screen and anti-scratch and chip protection. It is the marine formulation of the CERAMIC coating used on ultra high-end sports cars by conscientious owners.
Skiers and wakeboarders will really appreciate the built-in technologies engineered into the 242X E Series. The CONNEXT HELP CONTROL SYSTEM integrates entertainment features, operation functions, and all the essential system info in one easy to view touchscreen display. The screen is easy to see even in direct sunlight.
The touchscreen is LCD, operated with a key pad, and works with a joystick controller. Bottom line, it is very intuitive and easy to use. It even included GPS chart plotting.
WAKE SHAPING.....included specially tuned jet drives which vector the jet nozzles at the optimum angle to create a superior wake producing a larger pocket. To research this feature, look for the term SURF POINTE.
Jet boaters will appreciate the YAMAHA Articulating Keel designed to eliminate most is not all speed wandering common to jet boats....this keeps the boat tracking straight with self-centering steering while achieving and maintaining plane.
According to YAMAHA, the twin 1.8L HO engines at 7550 RPM produces speed of just over 50 mph. Best crruise is at 5500 RPM producing 32.2 mpg. You can probably expect under 10 gallon per hour fuel burn or 3.31 miles per gallon at cruise speed. Pretty good!
Included with the boat is a YAMAHA ultra-tough travel cover. The cover fits well and cinches down tight for safe trailering at high highway speeds. The cover is perfect and supple except for a 12' scrape on the starboard rear where the cover fits over the rub rail. It is pictured for you and does not affect the utility of the cover. I suggested the seller just stitch it up and it would be visually as good as new.
