By: Amanda Comission
If you’re stuck trying to decide between a bowrider and cuddy, you may not have to choose at all. Campion’s Chase 700i BR offers the best of both worlds with its cushioned bow seating and compact sport cabin cuddy.
Nestled in just forward of the helm, the sport cabin is surprisingly roomy for its size providing sleeping room for one adult or two children, a standard head with pumpout, a screened hatch for light and ventilation, and beautiful cabinetry. The cabin can be accessed from either the bow or cockpit.
If the tunnel access door is blocked by the bow cushions, passengers simply navigate the integrated steps in the dash next to the driver’s helm and step through the walk-through windshield. Up front, nothing is comprised with netted storage areas on both the port and starboard gunwales, top-of-the-line Clarion speakers and easy access to the anchor locker.
If you’d rather play cards then sunbathe, simply set up the table in the 700’s spacious cockpit, where there’s a cold water sink built-in on the starboard side. There’s also plenty of storage under the U-shaped seating and in the ski locker. And you’re sure to have lots of gear on board, especially with the extended aft swim platform creating a great entertainment area for watersports an more. The well thought out transom area boasts such features as a hot and cold water shower, large storage bins and a stainless steel tow rope cleat.
The dash is also nicely laid out on the 700, with two sweeping layers of gauges and switches, integrated drink holder and beautiful tilting steering wheel. Visibility is clear from both the captain’s and co captain’s chairs, as both come standard with a flip-up bolster. The two chairs also slid forward and aft and rotate 360 degrees for great entertainment seating while hosting guests in the cockpit.
With power options ranging from 5.0 to 8.2 litres, you’re sure to find your perfect match nomatter how you choose to use the Campion Chase 700i BR. Just be prepared to be pursued as you turn heads with this unique beauty!
