The Tracker Pro Team 175 has long been the company’s best selling boat and for good reason; it’s packed with features and standard equipment ready to fish on day one of ownership.

The hull is rugged, welded aluminum with full-length stringers and pressed-in strakes and chines. The wide, four-inch, one-piece gunnels add strength and protection and incorporate Tracker’s VersaTrack accessory system.

Three across seating is comfortable and versatile and the centre seat back folds down to create a step. The package also includes two fish chairs with pedestals.

The helm console features a tinted windshield, drink holder and catch tray. The speedometer, tachometer, voltmeter and fuel gauges are arranged in an arc around the padded wheel for nice lines of visibility.

Tracker offers Mercury outboards from 9.9 hp to 75 hp for this model. Our test boat had the optional Mercury 60 FourStroke, a powerful choice and a good match to this 17 footer. What impressed me the most was how well the Tracker 175 ran in big lake conditions. It ran dry and with full control in all conditions.

The package includes a single axel trailer with chrome wheels, Super Lube hubs, jack stand and fold away tongue.

FISHING REVIEW by STACEY KING
Team Tracker Fish Pro

This boat has a lot of features that make it fishable. From the trolling motor on the front deck all the way to accessories and the power in the back, it’s a nice little rig for bass fishing or any species.

The trolling motor is a Minn Kota with 45 lbs of thrust and it will handle this boat great in the wind. You can really position yourself well. Another nice thing is that the trolling motor foot pedal is recessed in the deck. Years ago they were flush with the deck and you had to cock your leg up all day which was really hard on your back. They even have tool and drink holders beside the foot pedal.

The front deck is quite big on this boat. Two can fish there without getting in each other’s way. There are three great big storage boxes under deck - two for tackle and lifejackets or whatever accessories you may have and in the middle is one that serves as a rod locker. You can put a rod up to seven and a half feet in this rod box, which is a good size.

The helm has a Lowrance fish finder with the new Chirp system. It is a new advanced sonar that really helps you locate structure and find fish. There are two storage areas in the back deck for more tackle or tools, but one thing that’s really great is the livewell system. It’s a split livewell that’s aerated at 500 gallons per hour and it has a fill and drain system.

The 175 is just a wonderful fishing boat. I have a lot of fun with these boats. I fish out of a lot of big boats too, but when you are in smaller lakes or river systems, these boats are great.
